Roscoe Teams Up With The Handyman

You all know the award winning Handyman Show with Glenn Haege sometimes broadcasts live from some event around the country. Glenn has one of the best shows on the radio, and on May 16 he will be broadcasting from the ACE Family Hardware in Novi, MI, dispensing his home improvement advice to desperate home owners. Since this is a live remote broadcast, people will get to talk to Glenn in person, and the ACE Family Hardware will be giving away a nice new shiny grill to some lucky winner.

Roscoe Cooks!

What’s the point of having a grill if there’s no one to cook on it? And since the Handyman is a Club Roscoe member and subscriber to the Cookin’ With Roscoe website, what better way to demonstrate the grill than to have Roscoe himself grab the tongs and sling some sausage?

First Public Appearance

So Roscoe and the Pitmaster will man the grill to provide Roscoe’s Italian Sausage with Onions Peppers and Garlic, and Pitmaster’s Special Pulled Pork Sliders.

Security Will Be In Force

The President has the Secret Service for protection. Absolutely necessary, of course. Well, the same goes for Roscoe. He’ll have his own private security team to ensure order and safety, as things could get out of hand quickly once the crowd tastes the food coming off the grill.

Totally Invisible

You’ll never see them, of course, they’ll blend in with the crowd and you’ll never know they’re there. But Roscoe and the Pitmaster will be protected at all times. In fact, you may be standing next to Roscoe at any moment and never know it, thinking you’re watching him at the grill.

Heads of State Have Been Known to Use a Double

You’ve heard the rumors: a foreign dignitary or a powerful potentate appears in public, but it’s not really him, it’s a double, a twin of some kind, either made up or a look-alike, to guard against assassination. Well, Roscoe would never think he’d be the target of an assassination (as long as there are no ex-wives in town), but believe it or not, there may be a political enemy or two, or a disgruntled Hollywood actor, who gets it in mind to gain attention by some misguided act of foolishness. So Roscoe will be there, you just might not know who he is.
